The Senior Data Analyst will analyze large and complex datasets, develop data visualizations, build dashboards, and produce clear analytical reports to support data‑driven decision‑making for a federal client. The role requires strong data manipulation, SQL querying, and experience with modern visualization tools.
Requirements
- US Citizen (Public Trust eligibility)
- Proficiency in Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and MS Excel for data visualization.
- Strong SQL skills for database querying.
- Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and transformation.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights clearly.
- Experience producing dashboards and data‑driven reports.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (R, SPSS).
- Exposure to predictive analytics or machine‑learning frameworks.
- Experience with correlation analysis and advanced data‑quality techniques.
- Additional Databricks experience (pipelines, transformations)
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and MS Excel.
- Prepare detailed analytical reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Conduct data cleaning, manipulation, and transformation of large datasets.
- Query databases using SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Apply predictive analytics or machine‑learning techniques when appropriate.
- Participate in agile delivery processes, including user story documentation and testing.
