About The Position

Optum is implementing our Enterprise Data Warehouse & Analytics solution for the State of Connecticut. We have a 20-month implementation to implement the solution, including all the operational, State, and Federal reporting requirements to meet the State's needs. This position will report into the State and Federal Reporting Manager for their day-to-day responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing function and non-functional business requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience performing requirements gathering and validation.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the Healthcare industry, operations or implementations, focused on data warehouse, data analysis, or decision support systems.
  • 2+ years of experience managing project controls including issues, risks, requirements, scope, schedules.
  • Proven experience with Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards and SQL.
  • Proven ability to understand and analyze database data, Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards, data lineage, and integrations with backend databases.
  • Proven experience in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Performing requirements gathering and validation.
  • Analyzing database data, Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards, data lineage, and integrations with backend databases.
  • Creating and mapping State and Federal reporting (MARS and/or T-MSIS).
  • Working with SMEs and customers to create business requirements and complete source-to-target mappings.
