About The Position

Optum is implementing our Enterprise Data Warehouse & Analytics solution for the State of Connecticut. We have a 20-month implementation to implement the solution, including all the operational, State, and Federal reporting requirements to meet the State's needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing function and non-functional business requirements
• 3+ years of experience performing requirements gathering and validation
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the Healthcare industry, operations or implementations, focused on data warehouse, data analysis, or decision support systems
• 2+ years of experience managing project controls including issues, risks, requirements, scope, schedules
• Proven experience with Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards and SQL
• Proven ability to understand and analyze database data, Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards, data lineage, and integrations with backend databases
• Proven experience in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Soliciting, reviewing, analyzing, and writing functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Performing requirements gathering and validation.
• Understanding and analyzing database data, Power BI and/or Tableau dashboards, data lineage, and integrations with backend databases.
• Managing project controls including issues, risks, requirements, scope, and schedules.
• Creating and mapping State and Federal reporting (MARS and/or T-MSIS).
• Working with SMEs and customers to create business requirements and complete source-to-target mappings.
