About The Position
dv01 is focused on the structured finance market, a significant part of the global financial system. The company provides a data analytics platform that offers transparency into investment performance and risk for lenders and investors in structured products. dv01 processes loan data and develops analytical tools to support strategic decision-making in lending, aiming to prevent financial crises by promoting data-driven decisions. Over 400 financial institutions utilize dv01's services, covering more than 75 million loans across various asset classes like mortgages, personal loans, auto loans, buy-now-pay-later, small business loans, and student loans. The company is continuously expanding its market coverage and developing new technologies for the structured products universe.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working with financial data.
- Deep understanding of loan-level originations and servicing data.
- Proficient with using SQL, R, or Python to analyze large data sets.
- Able to identify key metrics and transactional details on financial statements, investor reports, and securitization trustee reports.
- Ability to dive into loan-level data.
- Focused, detail-oriented, multi-tasker.
- Able to communicate findings and opinions internally and with clients.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with securitizations and/or multiple asset classes is preferred.
- Desire and ability to grow quickly on the technical front.
Responsibilities
- Be on the cutting edge of structured finance and technology.
- Expand structured finance knowledge by gaining exposure to ABS and RMBS spaces, combining information from various sources.
- Enhance technical skills by working closely with engineering teams to develop and productize solutions.
- Be customer-facing, directly communicating with contacts at hedge funds, banks, and asset originators to provide reporting and analytics services.
