About The Position

As a Sr. Customer Solutions Manager in the Asia I&C organization, you will lead business unit and engineering teams in identifying, developing, and tendering products and services that provide our customers with solutions to complex technical problems. In this role, you will lead offers while also overseeing and reviewing other offers being executed by the rest of the Asia I&C Customer Solution Management team. You will report to the Sr. Director of Asia ICS and will be based out of our Cranberry Township, PA facility. This is a mobile role that is required on site 2-3 days a week. Additionally, this role requires periodic travel to China and South Korea.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Business or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience in positions with increasing levels of complexity and accountability
  • Strong understanding of financials; specifically the relationship between sales, margin, and orders entered and the levers available to positively impact each.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and industry meetings, including internationally (~10% travel)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and oversee high-quality bids resulting in wins. Develop technical, cost, and risk protection aspects of offers; coordinating input as needed from Product Management, Project Management, Delivery, and Supply Chain organizations.
  • Facilitate Offshore work and support as needed for Onshore (non-US) offers being led by CSMs in China or Korea
  • Work closely with the Asia I&C business leader to establish strategies and mitigation plans to meet financial objectives for OE, Revenue, Margin, EBIDTA and Cashflow
  • Be the primary CSM contact and represent the Asia CSM team when interfacing with management from other disciplines within Westinghouse, such as Global Markets, Supply Chain, and ICS Management.
  • Initiate and grow business relationships with utility customer engineers and management to understand evolving needs and position Westinghouse as a consultative/influential partner in the marketplace.
  • Work with Global Markets and Commercial Integration to grow pipeline (opportunity database in D365). Additional interface support activities include capture strategy development, target price/cost setting, Technical Descriptions, Contract terms and negotiation.
  • Serve as primary contact for emergent customer needs
  • Collaborate with Global I&C Product Strategy & Growth team to evaluate customer needs and industry trends, identify areas for revenue growth, monitor competitor moves.
  • Support product strategy planning, including product lifecycle development, technology roadmaps, and investment (e.g. Innovation, M&A) business case development as needed.
  • Deliver accurate opportunity forecasting for financial results, resource demand (RDT), and hardware/manufacturing demand.
  • Stay engaged with Project Management to provide consultation on leveraging Contract Terms, customer interaction strategies, etc as needed.
  • Collaborate with I&C Engineering and Manufacturing on strategic priorities, including protection of intellectual property and achievement of cost improvements to support margin expansion initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with Westinghouse leadership; capable of conveying both complex technical and financial information both informally and in presentation format.
  • Understand and navigate the interaction of corporate functions that are touch points to solutions management job function (e.g. Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.).
