About The Position

OpenText is seeking a Sr. Customer Marketing Manager to join their Customer Engagement Programs team. This individual is responsible for planning and executing programs that engage with customers to foster their success and capture business insights for OpenText. The role involves leading and managing customer engagement programs such as Product Advisory Councils, User Groups, and Customer Advisory Boards, defining and improving these programs, building relationships with customer contacts, and working with subject matter experts to develop valuable content and agendas. The role also requires tracking and communicating metrics of success and insights for improvement, with potential involvement in other engagement tactics as the program evolves.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for serving and understanding customers.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
  • Skilled in leading presentations and discussions with business, technical, and sales stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across teams and business functions.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital marketing tools such as virtual event platforms, collaboration platforms, and marketing automation platforms.
  • B2B technology industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage customer engagement programs such as Product Advisory Councils, User Groups, and Customer Advisory Boards.
  • Define and continually improve these programs to optimize their effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with customer contacts, ranging from C-Level to developer level, to encourage program participation and ensure programs align with customer needs.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop content and agendas that drive value.
  • Track and communicate metrics of success and insights for improvement.
  • Involvement with other types of engagement tactics as the program evolves.
