About The Position

The Senior CT Technologist is a CRT/ARRT Technologist who maintains an ARRT sponsored CT Certification. This individual must also be certified and demonstrate competency in performing injection procedures necessary for CT. This Technologist must demonstrate the ability to perform CT exams in both the inpatient and outpatient environment, be able to work safely in an acute care setting and be able to interact accordingly with anesthesia and other patient care departments that visit the CT environment. Additionally, the Senior CT Technologist must participate with the training of students and new hires when necessary. The position must have flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for nights, weekends and holidays. Must be willing to take call as well.

Requirements

Three (3) years minimum experience in practicing modality in an acute care setting.
Graduate of a JCERT accredited radiology technology training program.
ARRT Licensure.
ARRT (CT) Certification.
Venipuncture Certification.
BLS Certification.
Ability to teach BASIC and ADVANCED procedures.
Actively participate in mentoring new employees and students (excludes Per Diem).

Nice To Haves

Five (5) or more years of CT experience.
Experience in a similar hospital system environment working inpatient and outpatient.
Experience with 10 or 12-hour shifts with rotating shifts and weekend coverage.
Willingness to take call.

Responsibilities
