Requirements
- 1-3 months experience and/or training required
- Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
- ARRT certification required
Responsibilities
- Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
- Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
- Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
- Under the direction of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment in order to produce CT images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
