About The Position

Millennium Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to evaluate the creditworthiness of consumer and commercial borrowers, prepare underwriting packages, and recommend loan structures that balance growth with sound risk management. The position supports lending decisions by analyzing borrower financial information, evaluating credit requests, and monitoring the commercial loan portfolio. The bank serves businesses, families, and communities across Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
4–7 years of commercial credit analysis experience, ideally including formal credit training.
Strong command of financial modeling, global cash flow analysis, and loan documentation.
Clear writing, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in underwriting commercial real estate, C&I, or small business lending.
Candidates must satisfy a background screening including credit history, drug screen, and criminal records.

Nice To Haves

An MBA or CFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and other financial information to evaluate borrowers’ financial condition, repayment capacity, and overall creditworthiness.
Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums covering financial analysis, risk assessments, loan structure, pricing, collateral, and covenant recommendations for loan approval.
Evaluate new credit requests, renewals, extensions, and modifications to ensure appropriate loan structures and compliance with the Bank’s lending standards.
Review and recommend credit risk ratings based on borrowers’ financial performance, repayment capacity, and identified risk factors.
Monitor the commercial loan portfolio through annual reviews, financial statement analysis, covenant compliance, and identification of emerging credit weaknesses or deteriorating credit relationships.
