About The Position

Our agency client, established in 2012, focuses on helping brands create impact through strategic, big ideas and integrated thinking across various consumer channels including digital, social, retail, sponsorship, and events. They aim to solve significant brand challenges for major and respected brands. The agency is seeking a Senior Copywriter who is a team player, capable of bringing strong conceptual thinking, a smart social mindset, clever and witty writing, and acting as a cultural force to elevate the work. This role is not just about writing headlines; it requires a conceptor who can generate large, campaignable ideas and brand experiences, bringing them to life across channels with sharp, smart, and culturally fluent writing. The Senior Copywriter will collaborate closely with Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, and Account leads to produce work that earns attention, understanding that great ideas must live socially, travel organically, and spark conversation. The ideal candidate thinks in platforms, ideas, and earned moments rather than just posts, executions, or media plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a creative agency environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and versatile writing craft.
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns (not just tactical executions).
  • Proven ability to write in multiple tones and brand voices.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and how ideas gain traction organically.
  • Comfort presenting work and defending creative rationale.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience contributing to earned-led or PR-able ideas is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop big campaign ideas alongside creative partners and strategists.
  • Write across platforms: integrated campaigns, social content, video scripts, manifestos, OOH, experiential, earned ideas, brand voice guidelines, and more.
  • Translate strategy into compelling creative concepts and sharp copy.
  • Bring a social and earned-first lens to every brief.
  • Contribute to pitch work and new business initiatives.
  • Present work internally and to clients with confidence and clarity.
  • Help evolve and protect brand voices across touchpoints.
  • Stay tapped into culture and proactively bring emerging trends, behaviours and creative inspiration to the team.
