About The Position

Senior Copywriter needed Boncom is looking for a conceptual thinker across all channels, proud to be called a Copywriter. First and foremost, we’re looking for a writer who understands their audience, who can think conceptually and at a broad campaign level, but also has a love for words and knows how to craft compelling copy that can move people to change behavior. This individual needs to go beyond a single execution of a great print ad or a clever social post or compelling TV spot and think of how the idea translates to a campaign, across a wide range of mediums (digital, social, radio, OOH, email, POS, etc). Boncom is a strategic advertising and consulting agency that exists to solve noble problems, promote positive behavior change and build relevance for good causes. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience with demonstrable client work; preferably with advertising agency experience
  • A strong portfolio/website of work that demonstrates your creative skill.
  • Exceptional writing and research skills that raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action.
  • Ability to manage and work independently or with a team to meet tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects
  • Keen eye for detail, thorough and appreciation for great design
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent grammatical skills, proofreading experience, and familiarity with standard style guides
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of communications and client-related industry trends
  • Self-starter, eager to share new ideas and thoughts
  • Comfortable receiving and applying feedback

Responsibilities

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for execution for assigned client work.
  • Collaborate with your Art Director partner, creative team, and account managers, in researching and developing new concepts as well as enhancing existing campaign ideas for clients from concept to delivery of final product.
  • Write original copy and edit content for a wide range of communication mediums to include digital, social, radio, OOH, email, POS; in multiple styles ensuring tone is consistent with the clients' brand.
  • Participate as requested in presenting final deliverable concepts to client as well as client pitches.
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback.
