About The Position

Global Time & Labor Management (TLM) is seeking a strong candidate who is focused on individual and team performance as well as continuous process improvement. Time & Labor Management is responsible for ensuring timecards are accurate and compliant with RTX policies, and Federal and State Labor Laws. This position will also be responsible for working ServiceNow tickets, from internal and external customers, that requires the ability to conduct research and perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support labor processes. The Time & Labor Management team manages a high volume, fast-paced process in a team-oriented environment with opportunities for continuously expanding responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Word and Excel, including creating and editing documents, formatting, data entry, and using formulas and functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Payroll or Timekeeping gained in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with SAP, EV5, and Workday with emphasis within areas of Payroll or Timekeeping
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent tasks, organizing and prioritizing workload, meeting established deadlines, and resolving routine work-related issues using established procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer support through verbal and written communication in a professional or corporate environment, including responding to inquiries and documenting or communicating resolutions.
  • Demonstrated experience investigating and resolving customer issues by identifying root causes, documenting findings, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and implementing or recommending appropriate resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support by researching, documenting, and resolving inquiries within established service-level expectations and accuracy standards
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance to interpret and apply applicable guidelines and policies to assigned work
  • Maintain process documentation for assigned tasks
  • Compile and analyze financial information for reports and metrics
  • Review completed work for accuracy and identify and correct errors in accordance with established procedures.
  • Perform calculations, analysis, and data entry to support the labor process
  • Apply applicable labor policies and Federal and State wage and hour laws to assigned responsibilities.
  • Apply applicable Federal and State leave of absence requirements to timecard processing in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Calculate and process employee termination final pay
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, possibly outside normal business hours
