About The Position

This position will support the rendering division of Tyson Ingredient Solutions Group. This position provides financial and business leadership while ensuring good stewardship of Tyson resources. Core responsibilities include: operations financial & accounting support, product costing, variance reporting and analysis, margin analysis, balance sheet management & reconciliation, KPI reporting and analysis, management of plant accounting teams, continual business process improvement identification and implementation, and other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities include: capital budgeting support, ensuring proper internal control and SOX compliance. All the above activities are performed with an ownership mindset in a dynamic team environment demonstrating close collaboration within the finance team and with other cross-functional partners.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree of accounting or related degree equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to the job being evaluated.
8 plus years accounting supervisory experience.
Basic computer skills
Microsoft office
Efficient in DBII database query system.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate well with staff management and clerical support
Communication of information among sales management production management scheduling management and procurement management.
Knowledge of sources and uses of information in analysis and decision making
Problem solving in the process of product costing pricing models
Detailed knowledge of all business cycles systems and processes that impact sales and production.
Supervision of accounting managers.
