About The Position

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Sr. Contracts Management professional to support the Applied Research (AR) - Dallas, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD AP), and Tactical Missile Advanced Programs (TMAP) – Dallas Product Areas under the Advanced Programs (AP) line of business. This role involves supporting proposal preparation, negotiations, contract administration, contract guidance, and contract closeout. The position requires reviewing and evaluating customer requests for proposal/information or revisions to contracts, assisting with proposal preparations, developing and reviewing briefing packages, fact-finding, and negotiation. It also includes assisting with the creation and execution of multiple Intra-Lockheed Martin Work Transfer Agreements (IWTAs), providing risk assessments and alternative mitigation approaches, and investigating/reconciling significant contract changes. The candidate must be able to handle multiple assignments, achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and be a self-starter who is detail and teamwork oriented. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers is crucial. The candidate will also serve as the primary contact with the US Government contracting officer and the DCMA administrative contracting officer.

Responsibilities

  • Support proposal preparation, negotiations, contract administration, contract guidance and contract closeout
  • Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal/information or revisions to contracts
