About The Position

The Senior Content Marketing Manager develops and executes high-impact content that supports WD’s corporate marketing strategy and brand storytelling. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and technical subject matter experts to create content that informs, engages, and positions WD as a leader in data infrastructure and storage innovation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing, editorial strategy, journalism, or digital storytelling, ideally in enterprise technology or B2B.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
  • Experience managing editorial workflows and coordinating content across multiple teams.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and technical SMEs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, AI, or data storage industries.
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital analytics, and content performance optimization.
  • Experience developing video or multimedia content.

Responsibilities

  • Write and develop compelling content for the WD Blog, website, social media channels, YouTube, and external publications.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives for enterprise and technology audiences.
  • Provide strategic input into and help manage a shared editorial and content calendar across corporate marketing and partner teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and other subject matter experts to ensure content is technically accurate and aligned with WD’s innovation story.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including creative design, web operations, and social media—to bring content to life across channels and formats.
  • Support corporate storytelling initiatives including thought leadership, executive content, and industry commentary.
  • Identify content opportunities aligned with WD’s core marketing pillars and key industry trends across AI, cloud, and data infrastructure.
  • Monitor content performance and partner with digital teams to optimize for reach, engagement, and discoverability.
