About The Position

Participate in or lead teams in the design, development and delivery of consulting, analytics, business operations projects or components of larger, complex projects. Review and analyze client requirements or problems and assist in the development of proposals of cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction. Provide direction and guidance to Analysts, Consultants, and where relevant to Statistical Services assigned to engagement. Perform quantitative, statistical analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions. Recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems. Design, structure and deliver client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience. Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies, pharmaceutical data sources and life sciences market through on-the-job experience and participation in training opportunities. Begin to develop Center of Excellence specific subject matter expertise. When acting as Project Lead, proactively manage project timelines and manage day-to-day communication with the client and team members. Stay aware of client situations / dynamics that can lead to new projects and communicate to leadership as appropriate and build strong relationship with the clients. Help identify new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client. Deliver project findings to clients. Provide follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field or foreign equivalent.
  • Requires five (5) years of management consulting experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Includes 5 years with the following: utilizing understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, regulations and market trends.
  • Includes 5 years with experience using prescription data, sales data, and reference data assets.
  • Includes 5 years with utilizing data analytics and statistical programming such as R, Python, Alteryx, and SAS.
  • Includes 5 years with managing consulting projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Includes 5 years with creating Promotion Response Models, Sales Force Sizing Structure, Incentive Design, and Goal setting models for Sales Reps.
  • Includes 5 years with developing prescriber targeting lists.
  • Demonstrate the required analytical skills and knowledge to effectively solve problems using hands on experience on the analytical tools (Alteryx/Python/R/SQL/Excel and VBA etc.) and pharmaceutical datasets (LAAD, DDDMD, OneKey, Xponent PlanTrak, NPA, NSP etc.).
