About The Position

We are looking for a creative and strategic marketing professional to join our team as a Sr. Consultant, Retirement & Annuity Concepts. In this role, you’ll help bring retirement planning ideas to life by creating compelling sales concepts, presentations, and tools that show how annuities can help solve real retirement income challenges. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, collaborate closely with sales and product teams, and create meaningful resources that support financial professionals across the country.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, financial services, or a related field.
  • Experience in the annuity or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of retirement income planning and annuity products.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging presentations and marketing content.
  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptability, innovation, critical thinking, and a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop timely sales concepts, presentations, and marketing resources aligned to retirement income and financial planning needs.
  • Translate complex annuity strategies into simple, compelling stories that resonate with financial professionals and consumers.
  • Help shape the roadmap and priorities for Athene’s advanced planning marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with sales, advanced markets, product, and legal teams to identify emerging trends and develop timely solutions.
  • Support internal and external sales teams by educating them on how to use marketing resources effectively within the sales process.
  • Stay current on annuity products, retirement trends, and financial planning strategies to keep content relevant and differentiated.
  • Use data, market insights, and AI-enabled tools to help improve content development, personalization, and sales effectiveness.
