About The Position

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Superintendent with out-of-the-ground construction experience to join our team in New Orleans, LA. This role is accountable for the overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. The Senior Superintendent will lead, direct, and manage the entire direction of construction and related activities within their assigned area of responsibility, which may encompass a single area, multiple areas, or a multi-discipline construction project. This position serves as the primary liaison with the client for day-to-day activities and long-term operations, communicating and directing changes or modifications to jobsite activities through other superintendents. The role is accountable for ensuring compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The Senior Superintendent will also be the primary interface and engagement with the Project Executive and manager group to coordinate efforts.

Requirements

BS Construction Management, Engineering or similar curriculum and 10 years of relevant commercial construction experience or AA/AS and 12 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED 14 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Willingness to work onsite full time; schedule flexibility for night/weekend work as required by project phases.
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

14 years of progressive field leadership as a Superintendent on large commercial projects, preferably in hospitality/hotel construction.
Proven success delivering complex builds with major structure/MEP scopes, dense urban logistics, or active‑campus constraints.
Strong command of safety management (OSHA 30 or equivalent) and field risk mitigation.
Proficiency with construction management tools and workflows (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid/Bluebeam, BIM-enabled coordination, look‑ahead planning).
Ability to interpret drawings/specs, lead trade coordination, and drive field problem solving
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, accountability-driven style
Experience delivering projects $100M+ with fast‑track or phased occupancy.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling techniques.
Trade background or field engineering experience.
First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10 or other safety credentials.
