The Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, is a premier advanced manufacturing facility that supports the safety, security, reliability and effectiveness of our nation's nuclear deterrent. This role performs and coordinates complex construction management activities related to construction projects and related industrial infrastructure to meet Honeywell, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) requirements.

Requirements

A Bachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field or 2 additional years of construction project management experience in lieu of degree.
At least 5 years of construction project management experience.
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
United States Citizenship.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

Nice To Haves

A master's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field.
PMP certification or its equivalent.
Expertise in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Experience collaborating with Federal Government clients.
A background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
A track record of successfully managing projects up to or exceeding $50M.
A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Ability to work without supervision with latitude for independent action and decision making.
Exceptional organizational skills with an innate ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in relevant software tools, encompassing project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exercise fiscal stewardship by closely monitoring budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation to align with financial parameters.
Articulate project updates, roadblocks, and solutions with eloquence, facilitating harmonious interaction among teams and stakeholders.
