Department Overview Our customers are public safety agencies, governments and military organizations who use our mission critical communications systems. The Security Governance team is part of the Security Update Service (SUS) organization. SUS provides pretested security updates, minimizing cyber risk and software conflicts. These security updates contain operating system security patches and antivirus definitions. The Security Update Service (SUS) organization includes the Security Governance team. SUS is responsible for delivering pretested security updates, which helps to minimize both cyber risk and potential software conflicts for our customers. These customers are public safety agencies, governments, and military organizations that rely on our mission-critical communications systems. The security updates provided by SUS include operating system security patches and updated antivirus definitions. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join the Security Governance team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and managing customer documentation, managing communication with customers and internal stakeholders for all the SUS deliverables and maintaining the portal updates for patch media distribution

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Operating Systems(both Windows and Linux), hardware and technology.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Adaptability to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Prior experience engaging directly with customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in document management and maintaining accurate records.
  • A degree in a related field such as Communications, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is mandatory; employer work permit sponsorship is not provided for this position.

  • Prior Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Prior Flexera experience is a plus
  • Prior google site experience is a plus.
