About The Position

Join Apple’s Creativity Apps team to help shape the next generation of creative editing tools. Work alongside creatives, designers, and engineers to develop pioneering technologies and next-generation agentic features for Apple’s creative applications. The role combines strong foundations in agentic workflows with hands-on experience building, evaluating, and deploying complex user-facing systems. It is a highly visible, high-impact opportunity requiring self-motivation and effective collaboration across the organization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of industry experience delivering products in generative AI, machine learning, or computer vision.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning and deep learning.
• Experience building and evaluating LLM/VLM-powered agents, including tool use, multi-step reasoning, planning, and context management.
• Hands-on experience building, training, and deploying transformer-based vision models, GANs, or related methods.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, and experience with a deep learning framework such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Creative problem-solving ability and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to encouraging an open and inclusive work environment.

Nice To Haves

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience deploying agentic systems to production, including work on AI reliability, safety, or benchmarking.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs or training adapters for foundation models.
• Experience optimizing models for resource-constrained platforms, ideally with Core ML, Swift, and iOS/macOS.
• Strong patent and publication record at top conferences.
• Keen interest in the art and science of photography.
