About The Position
DAn Solutions is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer / Architect to support a newly awarded Defense Intelligence Agency program in Charlottesville, VA. This position will provide senior-level systems engineering, architecture, integration, and technical support for mission-critical applications and infrastructure operating in a classified environment. An active TS/SCI with current CI Polygraph is required.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with current CI Polygraph
- Senior-level experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, solutions architecture, or a closely related discipline
- Experience supporting complex enterprise, DoD, or Intelligence Community systems
- Experience designing or integrating software, infrastructure, cloud, data, and enterprise services
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, interfaces, and technical dependencies
- Experience producing system diagrams, technical documentation, and engineering artifacts
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work onsite in Charlottesville, VA
Nice To Haves
- Previous DIA or Intelligence Community experience
- Experience with AWS or classified cloud environments such as TC2S/SC2S
- Experience with Linux, Docker, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and DevSecOps environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Experience supporting RMF, ATO, or security accreditation activities
- Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification
- Experience supporting mission-critical intelligence applications
- Experience with cloud modernization or systems integration efforts
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate system architectures, technical designs, interfaces, and integration approaches
- Translate mission and technical requirements into scalable engineering solutions
- Support integration across applications, cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, networks, and security components
- Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, interface documentation, and technical specifications
- Support AWS and classified cloud environments
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance issues, and opportunities for modernization
- Support system integration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and sustainment
- Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders
- Support RMF, accreditation, and technical security activities as required
- Provide senior technical guidance and engineering recommendations
