Sr. Compliance Officer (Banking)
About The Position
Ford Motor Credit Company is establishing Ford Credit Bank, a new de novo bank headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. This bank will offer innovative banking solutions for financing Ford vehicles and provide competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and CDs. The bank will be a direct subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company. The successful candidate will be part of a team building the bank's operations from the ground up. Initially, new employees will be Ford Credit employees, with the potential to transfer to the new bank once established. This role is an opportunity to contribute to a company focused on mobility and technological advancement.
Requirements
- Experience in a banking compliance role.
- Experience with Compliance Management Systems (CMS).
- Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Experience in conducting compliance risk assessments.
- Experience in developing and managing compliance training programs.
- Experience in compliance reporting to senior leadership and boards.

- Experience with de novo bank setup.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and day-to-day effective and efficient execution of the bank's comprehensive Compliance Management System (CMS).
- Responsible for the strategic development, meticulous implementation, and ongoing maintenance of critical compliance components, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and a robust compliance training program.
- Oversee the generation of essential compliance reporting, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to senior leadership, management committees, and the Board of Directors.
- Work with senior management across the Bank to drive visibility, understanding, and consistency for addressing risks.
- Provide risk-based guidance and compliance requirements to ensure Ford Credit Bank meets Bank and compliance objectives.
