About The Position

Ford Motor Credit Company is establishing Ford Credit Bank, a new de novo bank headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. This bank will offer innovative banking solutions for financing Ford vehicles and provide competitive rates on savings accounts. The Bank will be a direct subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company. The successful candidate will be part of a team building the bank's operations and compliance functions from the ground up. Initially, new employees will be Ford Credit employees, with potential transfer to the new bank once established. This role is crucial for ensuring the Bank's business activities align with ethical practices, company policies, and legal requirements, while also addressing emerging regulatory challenges and technological advancements.

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance monitoring and testing.
  • Experience working with senior management.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing compliance monitoring and testing programs.
  • Experience interpreting risk assessments and making risk-based planning decisions.
  • Experience establishing monitoring and testing methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with risk management, operational risk, internal controls, and internal audit.
  • Experience leading a team of analysts.
  • Experience generating compliance reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effective and efficient execution of the bank's comprehensive Compliance Monitoring and Testing program.
  • Oversee the strategic design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of critical compliance monitoring and testing components.
  • Interpret risk assessments and make risk-based planning and prioritization decisions.
  • Establish robust and comprehensive monitoring and testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal controls, and internal audit colleagues.
  • Lead a team of analysts through example and mentorship to execute monitoring and testing activities.
  • Oversee the generation of essential reporting and documentation on program results.
  • Ensure timely and accurate information is provided to senior leadership, management committees, and the Board of Directors.
  • Drive visibility, understanding, and consistency for addressing risks.
  • Provide risk-based information to facilitate decisions and ensure Ford Credit Bank meets Bank and compliance objectives.
