About The Position

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Client Relations Manager focused on Resilience and Environmental services to join one of their offices in the Northwest Gulf Coast Region. This role is crucial for growing Dewberry's resilience and environmental services, involving business development, client relationship management, project management, leadership, and sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of successful project management and maintaining strong client relationships. This position will collaborate with Dewberry's market sectors in resilience, environmental, water resources, and hazard mitigation, with potential to support projects in other markets. Dewberry is a professional services firm with over 60 locations and 2,500 employees nationwide, known for its commitment to excellence and innovative projects.

Requirements

  • BS degree in climate science, natural environmental science, or related field, with an emphasis in resilience and environmental.
  • At least 20 years of professional experience in resilient infrastructure and environmental planning and design.
  • Nature-based mitigation design experience in urban, rural, and coastal landscapes.
  • At least 5 years of independent client management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills with clients in the northwest gulf coast region.

  • Masters’ degree and/or PhD in a similar field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior client relations manager, growing relationships across the northwest gulf coast region in various market sectors, including resilience and environmental.
  • Manage, lead, execute, and provide technical support for resilience and environmental projects in municipal, regional, and Federal markets.
  • Lead the development or implementation of climate adaptation and resilience plans, strategies, and similar policy initiatives.
  • Communicate with clients, establish goals and objectives, and schedule/coordinate resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • Participate in proposal preparation and presentations, and develop scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for projects.
  • Support business growth goals by winning new resilience and environmental projects and acquiring new clients.
  • Travel frequently to in-person meetings in Florida and Alabama.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
