About The Position
The gift shops are located at Parnassus, Mission Bay and Mount Zion hospitals. One shop specializes in products and services for cancer patients. In a relatively fast paced, multi-tasked environment, the gift shop associate conducts retail sales, maintains the general upkeep, security and safety awareness in the shop environment. The incumbent shall provide excellent customer care by assisting with general inquiries and assistance while working with the gift shop team to achieve operational objectives. Maintains the objectives of the medical center and department. This person understands the mission of UCSF Health and applies the mission to the customer experience and the merchandising of product.
Requirements
- Experience in a relatively fast paced, multi-tasked environment
- Experience in retail sales
- Experience maintaining general upkeep, security and safety awareness
- Ability to provide excellent customer care
- Ability to assist with general inquiries and assistance
- Ability to work with a team to achieve operational objectives
- Understanding of the mission of UCSF Health
- Ability to apply the mission to customer experience and merchandising
