Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)
  • Generally, a minimum of 6 years of experience in claim operations or customer service.
  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal insurance-related policies.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization.
  • Working knowledge of claim data processing systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Processes and organizes claim file information on large volume claims for one or more lines.
  • Assists Claims staff on moderately complex claims including claims with coverage questions or recovery potential.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline claims procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
