About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Sr. Category Sourcing Manager to join its Data Center Supply Chain Procurement team. The role sources mission-critical data center equipment, leads end-to-end competitive sourcing events, and supports large-scale construction programs. The manager partners with cross-functional teams to develop regional and global category strategies aligned with business objectives for cost savings, lead-time reduction, quality, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Proven experience managing complex RFx processes.
• Proficiency in developing standard operating procedures, gathering savings metrics, and creating data-driven reports in ambiguous work environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration and presenting to executive stakeholders.

• Direct experience in a data center or infrastructure service provider environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage competitive sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs) for mission-critical data center construction and expansion projects.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve regional and global category sourcing strategies.
• Create process workflows focused on reducing cycle time.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams to align sourcing strategies with budgets, continuity of supply, and project delivery timelines.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to increase competition.
• Track cost savings and cost-avoidance metrics and provide data-driven reporting to leadership.
