We are seeking a Sr. Casting Technician-Pediatric to join our Orthopedic surgeons who provide a full range of surgical services. Collaborate with all medical staff to determine the most appropriate cast or brace for a patient with particular diagnosis and treatment(s). Assist with development and follow policies and procedures relating to cast room staff duties. Provide quality care to pediatric patients in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment. Apply and remove casts, apply and adjust braces and splints, perform suture removal and minor wound care, and stocking supplies. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness and education.

Requirements

• 2 years experience applying casts, splints and other orthopedic devices Required
• Current CPR/AED Certification Required

Nice To Haves

• Current certification as Casting Technician/Technologist Preferred
