About The Position

RIGHTECH is seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Cable Technician position in Springfield, MO. This role involves rolling out network equipment at churches within a 2-hour radius of Springfield, MO. Each site is expected to take approximately 3 days to complete. The work primarily consists of running cat 6 cable, mounting new wireless access points, and punching down at the patch panel. While most work is during daytime hours, overtime is expected. Candidates must be comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts, and willing to use their own vehicle for transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed at $0.76/mile after 50 miles, and drive time over 1 hour will be paid. A 6-foot ladder must be owned and transportable by the candidate. Full PPE and basic cabling tools are required.
