About The Position

RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Cable Technician in Shreveport, LA starting ASAP. This role involves rolling out network equipment at churches within a 2-hour radius of Shreveport, LA. Each site is expected to take approximately 3 days to complete. The primary tasks include running Cat 6 cable, mounting new wireless access points, and performing punch-down work at the patch panel. Most of the work is during daytime hours, with expected overtime. Candidates must be comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts. A willingness to use a personal vehicle is required, with mileage reimbursed at $0.76/mile and drive time over 1 hour being paid. A 6-foot ladder must be owned and transportable by the candidate.

• Basic cabling tools
• Full PPE
