About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer specializing in IT procurement to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships for technology-related goods and services. This role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies, maintaining supplier performance, and supporting organizational IT needs through timely and compliant procurement processes.

Requirements

• Must have strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of IT categories such as networking, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to think three steps ahead.
• Ability to work independently with business leaders and without much supervision.
• Ability to take initiative and constructively challenge the status quo to improve processes
• Experience working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and prioritizing various deliverables
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of the business environment.
• Ability to clearly understand the business objectives and link the financial results/data to operational performance drivers.
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
• Analytical and math skills.
• 2 years of related experience
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and related technology solutions
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with IT vendors and service providers
• Manage vendor relationships, including performance evaluations and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to align purchasing decisions with business goals
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulations
• Oversee purchase orders, contract administration, and procurement documentation
• Support budgeting and forecasting for IT expenditures
