This role involves engaging and managing client and supplier relationships, supporting Sourcing and Category Management for complex categories, and establishing performance goals for significant spend portfolios. The Sr. Buyer will lead sourcing projects, manage supplier relationships including business reviews and issue resolution, and identify business needs related to Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost, and Innovation (AQSCI). The position also supports the development of multi-year category strategies, evaluates value-generating projects, and manages a portfolio of projects. Additionally, the role involves leading the supplier selection and RFx award process, completing complex contracts, maintaining an understanding of category dynamics, supporting Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives, and ensuring the strategic sourcing process is applied. Collaboration with global procurement peers is also a key aspect of this role.
