About The Position

Join our dynamic Enterprise Applications team at Akamai. Akamai's success relies on great customer service and customization throughout the post-purchase lifecycle—contracting, integration, billing, and receivables—delivered efficiently through a diverse array of enterprise applications. Our team, distributed across the US and India, automates workflows across the enterprise. As Senior Business Analyst, you will work in a team-based, global environment and provide significant individual contribution to the Enterprise application integration efforts. You will own the responsibilities of business analysis end to end. You will come up with innovative solutions for business problems and will coordinate with the development team to implement them successfully.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally in IT.
  • Have experience with Oracle Accounts Receivables platforms (R12 / Fusion Cloud)
  • Have extensive knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Have proven experience in managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, with proven prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate skilled use of toolsets, presenting and articulating value of a program. Presentation, analysis and reporting tools contained with MS/Google toolsets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and goals related to billing management systems.
  • Analyzing existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Creating detailed requirements documentation for proper delivery across the SDLC. Including user stories, process flows, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, UX, Operations) to ensure successful execution and delivery of roadmap items.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test cases and coordinating testing efforts.
  • Ensuring quality delivery and customer support into production through a hypercare cycle.
  • Completing project reviews and documentation for lessons learned for future improvements.
  • Being adaptive, productive quickly in new environment that is fast paced. Learn new processes and multiple technologies.
