About The Position

Under the oversight and priority setting of the IT Site Leader, the Sr. Business Operations Engineer supports site IT operations by leading daily support priorities, coordinating L1 desktop support activities, and driving operational execution across local and enterprise stakeholders. This role is responsible for strengthening end-user support, improving consistency of site IT processes, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, compliance requirements, and scalable support models. This position serves as a key partner to IT Site Leads in executing local priorities, resolving operational challenges, implementing solutions, and connecting site needs with broader enterprise initiatives. The role is responsible for supporting issue resolution, action tracking, reporting, communications, process discipline, and execution of site IT support models. The Sr. Business Operations Engineer also supports CMMC compliance and other cybersecurity control requirements under the oversight and priority setting of the IT Security and Compliance Lead. This includes helping establish and sustain a center of excellence approach for site execution through development of standard work, coordination of control-related activities, reinforcement of compliance expectations, and support for consistent day-to-day adherence to cybersecurity requirements across sites. Operating within an enterprise support model, this role promotes standardization, customer-focused support, operational discipline, and scalable solutions that improve service delivery and strengthen compliance performance across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years CIS or computer related field experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT operations, desktop support, digital operations, business operations, or related environment.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional activities and driving operational follow-through.
  • Experience supporting end users, issue resolution, and service-related processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in site IT operations or manufacturing/site support environments
  • Strong understanding of L1 desktop support and end-user support models
  • Experience supporting solution implementation, process improvement, and operational standardization
  • Familiarity with CMMC, cybersecurity controls, compliance execution, and governance processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily site IT operational priorities in alignment with direction from the IT Site Leader
  • Coordinate L1 desktop support activities to ensure timely and effective end-user issue resolution
  • Partner with IT Site Leads to execute local priorities, resolve operational issues, and implement site-based solutions
  • Drive follow-through on support actions, escalations, risks, and open issues to ensure timely closure
  • Support reporting, metrics, communications, and status updates related to site IT operations and support performance
  • Implement and sustain standard work, process discipline, and consistent support practices across the site
  • Coordinate across local and enterprise stakeholders to align site execution with broader IT and business priorities
  • Support deployment and execution of scalable IT solutions that improve service delivery and user support
  • Assist with execution of CMMC and other cybersecurity control requirements across site operations
  • Partner with the IT Security and Compliance Lead to support compliance execution, control-related activities, and operational readiness
  • Help establish and sustain a center of excellence model for cybersecurity and compliance execution across sites
  • Support documentation, readiness activities, audits, and follow-up actions related to cybersecurity controls and compliance requirements
  • Promote a customer-focused support environment that balances responsiveness, standardization, and compliance
