Position Overview: The Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology Platforms (EITP) organization provides the secure, scalable technology foundation that powers McKesson’s business and supports clinicians, patients, and partners across the healthcare ecosystem. Within EITP, the Project Delivery & Strategy Enablement (PDSE) team acts as a horizontal function—centralizing operational processes and governance across all EITP service categories to ensure consistency, efficiency, and strategic alignment. This work directly supports McKesson’s mission of advancing health outcomes for all. The Sr. Business Operations Analyst will be owning operational disciplines across financial management, contract/SOW management, PO management, forecasting, and value realization. This role partners across EITP services, Finance, and Sourcing to strengthen governance, improve audit readiness, and provide insights that enable confident portfolio and investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Typically has 7 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in financial operations, including forecasting, reconciliations, and reporting in a project/portfolio context.
  • Experience supporting contract/SOW, PO/invoice workflows, and compliance-oriented documentation practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong reporting/analytics capability (Power BI or similar preferred).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to operate cross-functionally and communicate clearly with leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Planview (or comparable portfolio management tooling) and Smartsheet-based intake/governance workflows.
  • Lean / process improvement experience (e.g., formal training or certification).
  • Experience working within a PMO / delivery governance organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own EITP financial operations across initiatives, including forecasting, variance analysis, and leadership-ready financial insights.
  • Manage contract/SOW and PO lifecycle coordination, ensuring compliance and timely execution across Finance/Sourcing processes.
  • Track and report value/benefits realization against approved business cases; escalate variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for financial and contractual workflows; ensure completeness and traceability of decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for funding/procurement workflows and reporting standards to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and recurring reports (e.g., Excel/Power BI) that translate delivery activity into clear decision support.
  • Contribute to operating rhythms and coach other team members on standards and best practices.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
