This position is remote/work from home based. The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer will design and implement reporting applications including, but not limited to, BI dashboards, reporting cubes, emails, and batch reports. They will work with project leads, business users, and analysts to gather requirements, conduct design sessions, and prepare specifications. This role translates project requirements into functional and technical specifications for BI reports, dashboards, and analytical applications. The developer will develop, implement, and maintain test strategies and plans, and contribute to the organization’s short and long-term Business Intelligence strategy. They will provide production support for Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities, mentor and train other BI Developers, Data Analysts, and power users, and lead peer reviews of solution designs and code. The role involves working with end users on specific questions regarding BI tools and data, managing scope and deliverables within release timeframes, and coordinating with revenue cycle colleagues to ensure necessary infrastructure and desktop configurations. The developer will also determine the feasibility of integrating end user tools and upgrades with existing and future infrastructure, provide input to the strategic objectives of the RC Data Analytics team, and reinforce and assist in defining the vision and direction of the team. The position requires initiating opportunities to learn and grow, handling multiple demands, shifting priorities, crises, and rapid change, and cultivating positive, professional, and collaborative working relationships. The incumbent must maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct, and other policies and procedures to ensure adherence. Performs other duties as assigned.
