Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment finance, leasing, commercial lending, or business development.
  • Demonstrated success in originating and closing complex financial transactions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain high-level client and vendor relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and market insight.
  • Excellent negotiation, influence, and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit acumen.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Degree (MBA), preferred.
  • Strong experience in vendor finance, structured finance, or direct sales preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, and secures new vendor and client relationships within target industries.
  • Drives origination of new business by proactively sourcing opportunities through outbound efforts, referrals, and industry networking.
  • Structures and presents tailored financing solutions, including complex or non-standard transactions.
  • Leads negotiations terms, pricing, and contract structures with customers and vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Maintains and expands existing relationships to increase volume, profitability, and client retention.
  • Partners with credit, operations, and documentation teams to ensure timely deal flow, approval, and funding.
  • Oversees the deal lifecycle from origination through funding, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior sales and relationship management staff.
  • Monitors market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Represents the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote brand presence and generate leads.
  • Maintains accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data to support business planning.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to refine sales strategies and achieve organizational growth objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
