About The Position
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Business Analyst Intern to join our central team for the summer. This role is designed for a graduate-level student who is looking to apply advanced analytical thinking to real business challenges in a fast-growing, multi-brand food platform. The Business Analyst Intern will play a key role in supporting decision-making across our portfolio by translating data into actionable insights, partnering with cross-functional leaders, and contributing to high-impact strategic and operational initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an MBA or comparable graduate-level program in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Prior experience in business analysis, consulting, finance, or a related field (internship or full-time experience)
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and operational KPIs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging with senior stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in or analyzing a multi-brand or portfolio-based business model
- Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, or operations analysis, particularly in food or CPG environments
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite)
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial, operational, and market data across multiple food brands to support strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and models to track KPIs, forecast trends, and monitor brand performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, operations, supply chain) to drive data-informed decisions
- Conduct business process analysis and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Support strategic initiatives, including exposure to M&A evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments that may impact portfolio companies
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Participate in site visits (up to 15% travel) to connect analysis with real-world operations and support production teams
