About The Position

As part of the Digital HR team, the Sr Analyst, HRIS serves as a senior individual contributor and enterprise subject matter expert for global HR systems and associated platforms. The successful incumbent provides expert functional and technical leadership across complex HR technology initiatives, including new capabilities, process optimization, global deployments, reporting, integrations, data governance, and cyclical programs. The role independently leads analysis and solution design, advises senior stakeholders, and influences cross-functional decisions without direct people-management responsibility. administering global HR systems and associated platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, management or human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 or more years of progressive technology experience, including deep expertise in system administration, configuration, optimization, implementation, reporting, integrations, security, data governance, or solution management.
  • Demonstrated success operating as a senior individual contributor, solution lead, or enterprise subject matter expert for complex, cross-functional HR technology initiatives. Formal people-management experience is not required.
  • Expert-level knowledge of HCM architecture, configuration, integration tools, reporting, analytics, security, data governance, testing, release management, and production support practices. Dayforce experience is preferred.
  • Extensive experience translating complex HR and business requirements into scalable HRIS solutions, system enhancements, reports, integrations, controls, and process improvements across an international organization; manufacturing or another complex operational environment is an asset.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose ambiguous issues, perform root-cause analysis, evaluate options and risk, make sound recommendations, and independently manage multiple high-impact priorities.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the credibility to advise senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, build alignment across functions, and drive decisions without direct authority.
  • Collaborative, autonomous, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-country environment while providing technical mentorship and raising capability across the broader team.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, to advise stakeholders, document complex solutions, and support users in a global context where English is the common working language.
  • This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees, partners, or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French, mainly English.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior individual contributor and enterprise HRIS subject matter expert, providing technical leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on delivery across system administration, reporting, integrations, data integrity, security, and user support.
  • Lead complex Digital HR and HR transformation initiatives from discovery through stabilization by defining solution strategy, designing scalable capabilities, managing dependencies, and ensuring sustainable business outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, HR stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT, and external vendors by translating complex business needs into practical functional, technical, reporting, data, and integration solutions.
  • Own the analysis and definition of complex business requirements in a multi-country environment, challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment with evolving business priorities, HR processes, architecture standards, system capabilities, controls, and reporting needs.
  • Provide expert-level administration, configuration, enhancement, and upgrade leadership for global HR systems and solutions, including Recruiting, Performance, and Compensation.
  • Design and govern HCM configuration, user accounts, roles, and security access to support business change, appropriate segregation of duties, accurate functional access, and responsible data access.
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and ongoing optimization of enterprise HR reporting and analytics solutions, including workforce analytics, payroll, compliance, operational metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Establish and govern enterprise data definitions, reporting standards, validation controls, and data integrity practices to improve accuracy, consistency, accessibility, auditability, and confidence in HR information.
  • Lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of integrations between HR and business applications, ensuring reliable data flows, interface stability, automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
  • Resolve complex escalations and recurring system issues through structured root-cause analysis; recommend durable solutions, guide testing and change adoption, and provide advanced training and knowledge transfer to administrators, analysts, and business users.
  • Create and maintain solution designs, business processes, application procedures, operating standards, decision records, and user documentation to strengthen governance, knowledge continuity, and service resilience.
  • Influence technology roadmaps, standards, and investment priorities by assessing risks, dependencies, technical debt, emerging capabilities, and business value; present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Provide workstream leadership, peer coaching, and technical mentorship across cross-functional teams and project resources while remaining accountable as an individual contributor with no direct reports.
