About The Position

The purpose of the role is to manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. This role involves managing change projects, developing and managing project plans, communicating with stakeholders, managing project teams and budgets, creating reports on project progress, managing project risks, and facilitating change management activities. As an Assistant Vice President, the role is expected to advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. This includes collaborating closely with other functions/business divisions, leading a team performing complex tasks, setting objectives, coaching employees, and appraising performance. For individuals with leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate specific leadership behaviors (L – Listen and be authentic, E – Energise and inspire, A – Align across the enterprise, D – Develop others). For individual contributors, they will lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, identify the need for other specializations, and identify new directions for assignments/projects. They will consult on complex issues, provide advice to People Leaders, identify ways to mitigate risk, develop new policies/procedures, and take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls. The role requires performing work closely related to other areas, understanding how areas coordinate, collaborating with other areas for business-aligned support, engaging in complex data analysis, communicating complex information, and influencing stakeholders. Requirements

  • Broadridge functional & technical specialist experience within applications IMPACT, BPS, MBS Expert and ClearancePro.
  • Experience executing projects in US domestic settlements post-trade technology.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and 3rd party vendors and external agencies in testing and implementing Industry Initiatives.
  • Experience creating reports and data extracts from Broadridge IMPACT & COGNOS applications.
  • Experience coordinating with global front, middle and back office teams for requirements gathering.
  • Experience preparing business and functional requirements.
  • Experience analyzing requirements and providing business solutions or workarounds.
  • Experience troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving business problems and data quality issues in production environment.
  • Experience coordinating, testing and implementing vendor upgrades, bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Experience following Barclays change management procedures.
  • Experience communicating status and updates to stakeholders and management on projects.
  • Minimum Salary: $169,541.00 per year
  • Maximum Salary: $186,495.10 per year

Responsibilities

  • Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
  • Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
  • Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
  • Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
  • Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
  • Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
  • Use the Broadridge functional & technical specialist experience within applications IMPACT, BPS, MBS Expert and ClearancePro to execute projects in the US domestic settlements post-trade technology.
  • Engage with stakeholders and 3rd party vendors and external agencies in testing and implementing Industry Initiatives within the relevant post trade application suite including IMPACT, BPS, MBS Expert & ClearancePro.
  • Create reports and data extracts from Broadridge IMPACT & COGNOS applications as per business requirements from the front/middle/back office users and operation teams.
  • Coordinate with the global front, middle and back office teams for requirements gathering and prepare the business and functional requirements.
  • Analyze requirements and provide business solutions or workarounds and provide estimates.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve business problems and data quality issues in production environment.
  • Coordinate, test and implement vendor upgrades, bug fixes and enhancements by following Barclays change management procedures.
  • Communicate status and updates to the stakeholders and management on projects.
