About The Position

Tauck Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain functional automated testing frameworks and assets. This role involves close collaboration with Architects, Business Users, Development, and QA Engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage across all application components, aiming for optimal system reliability, performance, and quality. The engineer will deliver effective and efficient test automation solutions, meeting key project milestones and deadlines while adhering to development and quality standards. Responsibilities include designing and implementing automation frameworks for complex applications that can be adapted for other projects, and supporting the timely completion of UI automation test activities across multiple projects. Maintaining a strong understanding of current test automation processes, procedures, and best practices is essential, as is establishing and maintaining metrics for reporting test execution results. The role also involves identifying potential improvements, best practices, and efficiencies in the test automation process, and providing QA input into root cause analysis and retrospective sessions with IT/BA/QA after each release. Local telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • 9 years of experience in Software Testing, Development, and Test Management
  • Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, or other software languages
  • UI and Rest API automation
  • Object-Oriented Design and Patterns
  • AGILE, DevOps, and CI/CD process administration methodologies
  • Test methods/tools such as TestNG, JUnit/NUnit, GIT, Selenium, and WebDriver
  • SDLC
  • Scaling complex testing approaches to meet demand
  • Performing QA testing for travel industry systems, with a focus on reservation, booking, and post-booking workflows
  • Testing Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, and user-facing functionality
  • Using TestRail or comparable test management tools to plan, execute, and report on test cases and test cycles
  • Managing onshore and offshore vendor teams
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
