About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Playwright to support enterprise automation initiatives at American Express. This role requires candidates with hands-on experience building automation solutions that leverage AI technologies. Candidates with only Python automation experience will not be considered. Experience with GenAI and LLMs is mandatory.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Test Automation experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Practical experience with Generative AI
• Playwright Automation
• Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• BDD Frameworks
• TestNG
• TestX
• Java
• API Automation experience
• Git and CI/CD knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright
• Build AI-assisted test automation solutions using LLMs and Generative AI
• Integrate MCP into AI-enabled automation workflows
• Develop and maintain BDD test suites
• Execute functional, regression, and API automation testing
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality
