About The Position

At Manheim (part of the Cox family of businesses), our Automotive Technicians mix maintenance with a touch of magic. If you love cars, you’ll be a perfect fit for the team. This role is for an Automotive Technician III, also known as a Sr Auto Maintenance Technician. As a master-level auto tech, you’ll perform heavy duty work and the duties of a level 1 and 2 auto tech. You will be responsible for caring for cars, from bumper to bumper.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field, OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience; OR 7 years' experience in a related field.
Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or GED
Current ASE Certifications: A1-9, (L1 in emission states) when required by leadership.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy duty work and the duties of a level 1 and 2 auto tech.
Work independently or in a team environment.
Perform advanced diagnostics.
Clutch and transmission replacement.
Identify required parts and partner with our parts & procurement teams to acquire necessary parts, supplies and materials.
Alert team lead and/or management about difficult issues, patterns and trends.
May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
May be required to perform OEM recalls.
