About The Position

Workday is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join its growing Multi-cloud platform engineering team. This team supports the multi-cloud platform that enables Workday to run on Public Cloud (AWS/GCP). The services and tools developed by this team aim to accelerate and ease the adoption of Workday’s solution for customers, consultants, internal Workday service teams, and technical partners who set up new customers in the Workday application. A significant part of the role involves migrating data from existing landscapes into the Workday cloud.

Requirements

Master of Science degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Object-oriented design and development.
Algorithms and data structures.
Programming language such as Java, C# or C++.
Database and querying languages such as SQL.

Responsibilities

Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new cloud-based products and internet related tools.
Collaborates with peers to craft innovative technical solutions to meet client needs.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications.
Analyzes requirements, tests and integrates application components.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or internet-related computer programs.
Uses current programming languages and technologies to write code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
