About The Position

The Sr. Associate, Electrical Engineer will be responsible for taking library addition requests from end users and converting them into accurate digital data across integrated ECAD/MCAD/PLM tools. In addition, the position will interpret Vendor and OEM source data to support established business processes while keeping multiple libraries synchronized. This role provides ECAD/MCAD/PLM engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products. The engineer will generate digital and technical data utilized by various disciplines in formats required by the tools to aid in clear and concise solutions with downstream benefits. They will translate product requirements into “digital specifications” and test plans for development/deployment, and work closely with the engineering community fulfilling the workflow cycle of their products, as well as development teams for implementation/testing/execution of digital library data, providing guidance back to the user community. The role is responsible for understanding customer needs, generating documentation procedures, and executing tests. The engineer will also assist with tool debugging based on the ISR Business model and product offerings with a broader understanding of implications, and work directly with designers on ECAD/MCAD/PLM models and part documentation. Strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to dive into tools, provide demos, document metrics, and support tool configuration are essential. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance is also required. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years of Electrical engineering experience.
  • Graduate Degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of Electrical engineering experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of six (6) years of Electrical engineering experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on usage of Teamcenter, NX and Mentor Graphics Capital Harness understanding or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter Workflow tracking and completion.
  • Working knowledge of one programming/scripting language.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
