Requirements

  • Understands accounting and has experience with the month-end process.
  • High Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Demonstrates persistence in finding solutions and overcoming obstacles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AgilLink/Datafaction, QuickBooks Online, and Xero preferred but not necessary
  • Someone working toward the CPA or CFP
  • 2 - 4 years of professional experience in an accounting or business management environment is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Be in charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple clients
  • Handle the accounting at month-end for multiple clients
  • Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit card statements
  • Post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries
  • Prepare financial and cash flow statements
  • Prepare budgets and comparison of actual to budget reports
  • Ensure transactions are documented and analyzed according to compliance requirements
  • Supervise client-vendor management, including issues and disputes
  • Manage new bank account documents
  • In charge of filing 1099s
  • Maintain thorough client data files
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned
