About The Position

Baxter is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Architect to design and implement data architecture for data pipelines and model data into databases that expose data to the enterprise. The position calls for a strong background in data architecture, SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and database technologies. The architect will help guide data engineering practices, deliver secure and efficient access to data, and integrate analytics into business operations while protecting data privacy and security.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5 years of experience in data modeling or data warehousing.
5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or an equivalent cloud computing platform.
Strong background in SQL, ETL/ELT tools, data modeling tools, and RDBMS.
Strong understanding of data architecture principles and patterns.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree.
Experience with Unix, Linux, or equivalent.
Experience with data engineering or data pipeline development.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data architecture for data pipelines.
