About The Position

The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting enterprise decision making by independently executing complex analytical work and contributing to problem clarity, trade-off identification, and risk signaling. This role operates with greater autonomy than an entry-level analyst, owning defined analytical workstreams end-to-end while remaining aligned to priorities set by the Analytics Director. The Senior Analyst is expected to exercise judgment within defined scope, translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches with guidance, and produce decision-ready analysis that enables leadership to make informed choices. Final decision framing, prioritization, and escalation authority remain with the Analytics Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in analytics, finance, strategy, operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute complex analytical work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong judgment in applying assumptions, identifying risks, and recognizing limitations.
  • Comfort operating with partial ambiguity and validating scope before execution.
  • Ability to clearly document and communicate analytical outputs.
  • Experience supporting business or executive decision making through analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Independently execute complex analyses, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, trend analysis, and multi-variable assessments using established frameworks and assumptions.
  • Own analytical workstreams end-to-end, from clarifying the question and analytical approach through production of final outputs.
  • Translate partially defined or ambiguous analytical requests into structured approaches, validating scope and assumptions with the Analytics Director.
  • Support prioritized ad-hoc analytical efforts, recognizing that new work requires explicit trade-offs with existing commitments.
  • Surface assumptions, risks, constraints, and second-order implications embedded in analytical outputs.
  • Produce decision-ready analysis that clearly communicates insights, trade-offs, sensitivities, and limitations.
  • Contribute to executive-facing materials as needed, including tables, exhibits, and written summaries, without serving as the primary executive communicator.
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, inputs, and limitations to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
  • Identify data limitations or inconsistencies and escalate when they materially impact analytical confidence.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of repeatable analytical processes, templates, and standard outputs.
  • Provide informal guidance and feedback to entry-level analysts through review of work and shared best practices.
