About The Position

The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Optimization is responsible for evaluating opportunities to optimize aspects of the supply chain network including manufacturing, distribution, inventory, customer service, and capital spending.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field, and at least one year of experience as a Manufacturing and Distribution Supply Chain Analyst or related occupation
Experience with large-scale supply chain optimization models and techniques, including linear programming, heuristics, network flow algorithms, simulation and mixed integer programming
Experience using enterprise supply chain network design and optimization platforms (e.g., Coupa/LLamasoft, anyLogistix)
Experience analyzing large amounts of data, models and results using Microsoft Excel and other data-driven visualization tools
Experience investigating complex issues and conduct root cause analysis
Experience inferring realistic business and supply chain implications from data and model results
Experience with supply chain principles and fundamentals, including planning methodologies and plant operations
Experience identifying sources of information and procuring information effectively
Experience effectively communicating complex results and recommendations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Maintaining supply chain optimization models, incorporating business policies and constraints into models and translating results into sourcing, production, inventory, and capital decisions
Leading the extraction, consolidation, and validation of all critical data inputs and developing business processes to streamline data collection, data management and refresh activities used to ensure the highest level of data integrity
Identifying and leveraging proxy data sources used to supplement existing input data related to sourcing and supply chain operations
Assessing future manufacturing and distribution network capacity requirements and areas for optimization, making recommendations to support growth, and developing cost-to-serve reporting
Defining strategies to source incremental demand, reduce plant line imbalances, manage line downtimes, and react to other new information, including engaging cross-functionally in development of sourcing alternatives
Providing analytical support for new product introduction and product changes
Providing analytical and modeling leadership for timely development of monthly and annual sourcing, distribution, inventory, and production plans and supporting leadership in the delivery of cost, cash, and customer service metrics across the North American organization.
